Healthy St. Patrick’s Day Mint-a-licious Smoothie Recipes

My favorite thing about St. Patrick’s Day is that mint seems to be everywhere. I’m a huge mint fan, especially when paired with chocolate. But it can be hard to enjoy it while sticking to a clean eating plan. So here are a couple of my favorites that will keep you safe from the Leprechauns, while also safe from the sugar monster.

 

Chocolate Mint Protein Shake

1 scoop Vegan Chocolate Shakeology (or substitute other chocolate protein powder)

1 cup spinach

1 frozen banana

1 cup unsweetened almond coconut milk

1 tsp pure mint extract

1 dash sea salt

1/2 cup ice

Blend and enjoy!

 

Vegan Shamrock Shake

2 frozen bananas

1 cup spinach

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

1 tsp pure mint extract

Dash of salt

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Blend and enjoy!
