Saturday Smoothie: Vegan Grass Skirt

Wednesday, after another winter storm hit, I decided I needed to share my tropical smoothie on Instagram.

Since another storm is on its way, I thought I needed to share it here too!

Vegan Grass Skirt Smoothie
Calories: 400 kCal
Fat: 8g
Carbs: 85g
Fiber: 17g
Protein: 9g

Ingredients
1 medium banana
1/2 cup frozen pineapple
1/2 cup frozen peaches
1/2 cup frozen mango
2 peeled clementines
50g (~2 cups) raw spinach
3/4 cup unsweetened almond coconut milk
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 packet True Orange
1 packet True Lime

Directions

1) Put all ingredients into blender (spinach on the bottom, frozen fruit on the top) and blend until smooth. Serve, enjoy!

    • Have you tried blood oranges in them? They’re also fabulous in green smoothies. I need to start adding more veggies to them, but am a little afraid of it!
